Der Testshot der Sopwith F.1 Camel wird voraussichtlich beim Scale Model Expo & The Vintage Aviator Ltd flying weekend am 23. und 24. April 2016 gezeigt.

"...We will be attending Scale Models Expo in Upper Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. If you are coming to New Zealand's largest scale model show we look forward to having a chat and hopefully showing test shots of our upcoming highly anticipated Sopwith F.1 Camel model. ..."

Die Preise werden ab dem 1. März 2016 erhöht - es gibt jedoch keinen Hinweis, das die bisher versandkostenfrei Lieferung kostenpflichtig wird.

"...Due to increasing costs and the continued low value of the US$ we will reluctantly need to increase the price of many of our models next month. While the US$ has regained some of it's value in the last year or so (but still not risen to anywhere near where it was when we released our first 4 models nearly 7 years ago) we can no longer absorb these extra costs. These price changes will take effect from 1 March 2016 (NZ time)..."

Moin zusammen!

Nun habe sie bei WNW ihre Preise "angepasst"...und teilweise deutlich.
Wie ich vermutet habe, dass die 2-Sitzer nun klar die 100,-$ Grenze übersprungen haben und bei mindestens 119,-$ liegen.
Die meisten Einsitzer sind moderat um 10$ gestiegen, aber z.B. die letzte im Programm verbliebene Albatros D.Va (OAW) dann doch um 20$, ein Schelm der Böses dabei denkt
Naja, das lässt aber hoffen, das die neue Camel doch unter 100 bleibt...ich tendiere zu 89,-, da es ein beliebtes Flugzeugmuster ist. Na, schaun mer mal.

Ich war "damals" noch nicht auf der 32er Schiene, sonst hätte ich mir schon früher die Kits zugelegt.

die Rapid-Prototyping Teile der Camel sehen ja schon mal richtig gut aus ;-)

Dann muss ich vor Mitte Juni doch noch mal in Neusseland etwas bestellen. Die Felixstowe wird mir sonst zu teuer.

nun ist es soweit, WNW baut seine Webseite wegen dem Wegfall des freien Versands um.

Was mich besonders freut ist dieser Satz:

Jo ich auch und vorsichtshalber habe ich nochmal zwei Kits bestellt, ehe die "Porto-Überraschung" um die Ecke kommt.

Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt, aber vielleicht werden die entfallenden Zollkosten ja nicht zwangsläufig von einem Versand aus der EU mit den Portokosten kompensiert, so dass vielleicht ja noch ein Vorteil entstehen könnte.

SHIPPING/WAREHOUSING

Where are the overseas warehouses located?

Weta Workshop’s warehouses are located in Seattle, Washington (serving the USA, Canada and Mexico); the Netherlands (serving Europe and the Middle East); and Wellington, New Zealand (serving all other nations). Please note that some small products, including engine sprues and spare parts, will only ship from New Zealand. Unfortunately, there will be no shipping from Hong Kong or the ability to select an alternative warehouse to have your order shipped from as previously advised. Sorry.



How will this affect Taxes/VAT etc on my order?

Orders shipped from the Netherlands to EU addresses will have 21% VAT added at check out so you should not incur additional tax collection fees etc. Orders shipped from New Zealand to NZ addresses will have 15% GST added at check out. For everywhere else, depending on what country you live in, and the value of your order, there may be additional customs tariffs and duties, value added tax (VAT) and/or other fees imposed by your government and/or mail provider.
